Donnie Pai walked from the traditional film set into the AI era. He is a Taiwan-based AI film director and the founder of NextFrame AI Studio LLC. Over the past decade he directed dozens of commercials, brand films and music videos on set across Taiwan; in 2026 he stepped into the AI era, carrying that decade of craft into generative filmmaking. He believes: AI is not a replacement — it is a new kind of director.
